At Pioneer Comfort Systems, we’ve been proudly serving homes and businesses in the Shreveport area for more than 60 years. From home heating and air conditioning to indoor air quality and plumbing, we are your one-stop destination for all the products and services you need to stay comfortable at home.

Our History

In 1960, our founder, E.W. Smith, declared that “we will not compromise integrity.” It’s been 62 years, but under the leadership of Mr. Smith’s son, Travis, and grandson, Michael, we’ve held true to that promise. We know that our customers depend on their heating, air conditioning, and plumbing systems throughout the year, and we believe they should be able to depend on the heating and air conditioning company that keeps those systems up and running.

Today, we’re still a family-owned and locally-operated air conditioning company, and we fully intend to keep it that way. Our business combines the expertise we’ve gained over the course of a half-century in the industry with the personal touch that comes from being an active part of our local community.

We take special care to protect the needs of each customer’s home during any installation or maintenance project and always strive to get the job done right the first time. We’re well aware of the manufacturer’s recommendations along with local, state, and federal building codes, and as far as we’re concerned, those requirements are an absolute minimum.

One of the ways we offer top-quality service is by keeping almost every aspect of our business in-house. For instance, we have our own sheet metal shop that produces air-tight metal plenums for top-quality ductwork. Because we’ve been in business for so long, we have the financial health needed to provide multiple financing options, with approved credit. If your family needs a better heating or cooling system, we’ll work with you to make sure the job gets done within the constraints of your budget.

At Pioneer Comfort, we know that our employees are our most valuable resource, and we believe in treating them accordingly. All of our professional technicians are highly trained in their field, and we make sure they give their best for every service visit.

Of course, our business would be nothing without our customers, and we welcome everyone we serve to contribute to our team through feedback surveys. We have a full-time Service Manager on staff to answer customers’ questions, and we’re available to schedule service seven days a week.
